What we collect

  • When you book, ask for a quote, contact us or apply for a job through this website, we receive the details you type in: your name, phone number, email address, journey details and any message.
  • If you accept cookies, Google Analytics tells us how visitors use the website, such as which pages are viewed. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use it

  • To arrange and carry out your journey, and to contact you about it.
  • To answer your questions and send you a quote.
  • To consider your job application.
  • To improve our website, using anonymous visitor figures.
  • We never sell your details, and we do not use them for advertising.

Where it goes

  • Website messages and bookings are sent by email to our booking team. Bookings are then handled in our booking and dispatch system, iCabbi.
  • We use trusted service providers to run the website and send these emails: Google (website hosting and Google Analytics) and Brevo (email sending). They only use your details to provide their service to us. Some of them may store data outside the UK, with the safeguards required by law.

How long we keep it

  • We keep your details only as long as we need them for your journey, for our accounts and to meet our legal duties, and then delete them.

Cookies

  • We only use Google Analytics cookies if you click Accept on our cookie message. If you click No thanks, they are not used.
  • To change your choice, clear the cookies for this website in your browser, and the message will appear again.

Your rights

  • You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Email booking@orangetaxis.co.uk or call 01252 364666.
  • If you are unhappy with how we use your details, please tell us first so we can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
